Rose and Steve are a husband and wife team who will be making your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible in our family run Bed and Breakfast bungalow on the Suffolk / Norfolk border. Salmons leap is a recently refurbished 4 star silver award Bed and breakfast bungalow, which is set on an acre of land with ample private parking. Our light and airy bedrooms are all en-suite and newly refurbished, we provide hospitality trays with a selection of drinks, biscuits and sweets. Every room has a hairdryer, shaver socket, radio alarm clock Free view TV, cool air fans, a selection of toiletries and towels for your use, there are additional heaters on request.
Relax in our sitting / Breakfast room by our log burning stove for those cooler evenings, where there is a selection of board games, magazines, TV, Video’s, DVD’s, Wi-FI is available throughout the Bed and Breakfast Bungalow. Salmons Leap also offers our guests who stay for two nights or more complementary tickets to the local fitness centre and swimming pool.
We are a short drive to the Norfolk Broads, Oulton Broad, Lowestoft, Beccles and the historic city of Norwich. We are just a minute’s drive from the village of Barnby with one of the best Seafood restaurants in England (booking advisable)
We are an environmentally friendly bungalow which has a ground source heat pump for all the bungalows underfloor heating. In 2009 we also installed Solar Panels for all our hot water requirements.
We use our local village butcher for all our sausages and bacon, we make our own bread, jams and preserves. During the summer we grow our own tomatoes, salads and vegetables, we have some new additions coming in 2010, please look on improvements coming up in 2010.
